MOGADISHU, 3 November 2026 — SomBank has added Global Pay to its Kulmiye Internet Banking platform, allowing customers to send money to more than 140 countries.
The service is part of the bank's efforts to expand its digital banking services and aims to help businesses, institutions and companies manage domestic and international financial operations easily, securely and efficiently.
Global Pay expands the capabilities of Kulmiye Internet Banking, particularly for businesses dealing with companies, partners and markets in different countries. Countries covered include Turkey, Kenya, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
The service helps customers reduce the time and effort involved in managing international transfers by bringing essential financial services together on one digital platform.
"Our goal is to provide our customers with digital services that meet the needs of modern businesses," SomBank CEO Dr. Said Ali Shire said. "Adding Global Pay to Kulmiye Internet Banking makes it easier for our customers to manage their domestic and international financial operations in one place, easily, securely and efficiently."
In addition to Global Pay, Kulmiye Internet Banking already allows customers to manage their accounts and monitor account activity.
