Mogadishu (Dawan) –Italian surgeons completed urology surgery on 15 Somali children in four days through a Hormuud Salam Foundation Programme, officials said.
“Fifteen children underwent surgeries during the past four days, some of which were complex and time-consuming, said the Chairman of Hormuud Salaam Foundation, Abdullahi Nur Osman.
“Many of these children had long struggled with urinary issues,” Osman added.

Parents of the children who benefited from the program expressed deep gratitude for the medical care and the continuous support provided throughout the initiative.
Osman thanked the doctors who conducted the surgeries, describing the move as a kind gesture to those in need.
Hormuud Salaam Foundation emphasized that the program reflects its commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare for children with complex medical conditions.
