Randal Kolo Muani Set for Juventus Return as PSG Agree €45 Million Deal

Italy , July 29 , 2026 - Juventus have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to re-sign French striker Randal Kolo Muani in one of the biggest Serie A transfers of the summer.

The deal, now fully agreed between the two clubs, is structured as an initial loan with an obligation to buy, taking the total package to more than €45 million. Kolo Muani is expected to undergo his medical later this week before completing his return to Turin.

The move ends months of negotiations between Juventus and PSG, with the French international making it clear throughout the process that his priority was a return to the Bianconeri despite receiving interest from several other clubs. 

One of the defining features of the transfer saga was the player's determination to return to Juventus.

After spending the previous campaign away from Paris, Kolo Muani consistently informed PSG that his preferred destination was Turin. Although clubs from England and elsewhere in Europe explored the possibility of signing him, the 27-year-old refused to consider alternative projects while Juventus remained interested.

That stance ultimately proved decisive, as Juventus continued negotiations until an agreement was reached with the French champions.

The transfer will initially be completed as a loan, but it includes an obligation for Juventus to make the move permanent under agreed conditions.

The overall value of the package exceeds €45 million, satisfying PSG's financial demands after weeks of discussions over the structure of the agreement. Reports indicate Juventus increased their offer several times before both clubs reached a compromise.

The remaining formalities, including the medical examination and signing of contracts, are expected to be completed before Juventus continue their pre-season preparations.

Juventus have viewed Kolo Muani as a priority target throughout the transfer window.

The French striker impressed during his previous spell in Turin, where his pace, movement and versatility gave the Bianconeri a different dimension in attack. Club officials believed he was the ideal striker to lead their frontline as they continue rebuilding under their new sporting project.

His ability to play as a central striker, second forward or wide attacker also gives Juventus greater tactical flexibility.

Paris Saint-Germain initially resisted Juventus' proposals.

Having signed Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 for a package worth up to €90 million, PSG were determined to avoid taking a significant financial loss on one of the club's biggest investments. 

Negotiations therefore focused on finding a structure that would satisfy both clubs while complying with financial regulations.

The final agreement allows PSG to recover a substantial portion of their investment while enabling Juventus to spread the financial commitment over time. 

Kolo Muani has enjoyed a rapid rise over the past few years.

After developing at Nantes, he earned a move to Eintracht Frankfurt, where he became one of the Bundesliga's most dangerous forwards. His outstanding performances in Germany convinced PSG to bring him back to France in 2023.
