Mogadishu (Dawan Africa) The Somali Salvation Forum said it has postponed Saturday's protests, citing ongoing dialogue between the government and the opposition.
In a press statement, the forum said the talks between the federal government and Somali Future Council are being mediated by members of the international community.
The forum said the talks aim to find a solution to issues around elections and managing the country’s political transition.
The decision to postpone the protest comes as Somalia faces tensions over the electoral process and the direction of its political transition.
