MOGADISHU (Dawan) — The Somali Non-State Actors (SONSA) organization called for the resumption of political dialogue after talks between the federal government and the Somali Future Council collapsed.
The political consultations, held in Mogadishu from May 13 to May 15, focused on disputes surrounding Somalia’s political process, elections and broader state-building challenges.
In a statement, SONSA urged Somali political leaders to demonstrate responsibility, political maturity and genuine compromise in order to reach a sustainable solution that serves the interests of the Somali people.
