Western Cape Police confirmed that officers opened an investigation after the body of a 25-year-old man was discovered at a residence in Schotschekloof, Cape Town,0 on Saturday morning.
Police stated that the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Officials have not announced any conclusions, and Adams' family has requested privacy during this difficult period.
Adams had only recently returned from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he helped South Africa make history.
