Google Named Leader in Forrester Wave AI Platforms Report

United States, 10 August 2026 - Google has been named a Leader in The Forrester Wave: AI Platforms, Q3 2026, with its AI platform receiving the highest possible score in the Strategy category.

The report particularly recognised Google Cloud’s approach to helping organisations build and deploy artificial intelligence systems, especially AI agents capable of performing complex tasks and workflows.

A key focus of Google’s strategy is Gemini Enterprise, a platform engineered to help organisations develop, deploy and manage AI agents across their operations.

“Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform is the foundation that enables technical teams and IT leaders to safely, securely, and cost-effectively build and deploy production-grade agents,” the company stated on Monday.

“ Any agent built in Agent Platform can be deployed across your entire workforce through the Gemini Enterprise app, putting custom agentic capabilities directly into the hands of every employee,” it added.

The Forrester recognition comes as businesses increasingly explore agentic AI, in which AI systems can perform tasks, make decisions, and coordinate multiple steps with less human input.

The platform is also designed to support diverse approaches to AI development, including high- code, low-code, and no- code tools.

 The tech giant said that the platform is currently providing access to more than 200 native and third-party AI models, as well as pre-built agent templates, allowing developers to move from testing to deployment more swiftly.

Google has said that it is also transforming the platform as a multimodal AI system that is capable of working with text, code, audio, images and video within a single workflow.

According to Google, organisations can connect these capabilities to their enterprise data to create AI applications that are tailored to their business operations.
The company has assured that the platform includes built-in guardrails, continuous evaluation and tools for monitoring costs, latency and token usage, to guarantee security for users.
