Djibouti, 23 September 2026 Djibouti has taken a new step towards supporting young people seeking professional opportunities in Canada.
Minister of Labour, Formalisation and Social Protection Yonis Ali Guedi presided over the signing of a partnership agreement between the National Agency for Employment, Training and Professional Integration (ANEFIP) and the French Institute of Djibouti.
The agreement forms part of a professional mobility programme aimed at supporting Djiboutian workers seeking opportunities in Canada, with assistance from the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Under the agreement, several sessions of the TEF Canada French-language assessment will be organised between October and December 2026 for candidates selected for the programme.
The selected candidates will also benefit from preferential testing fees, while additional sessions may be organised depending on demand and the number of applicants.

The partnership brings together Djibouti's institutions, French partners and the IOM in an effort to provide young candidates with the preparation and tools needed to pursue professional opportunities abroad.
