The statement came in the wake of reports circulating on social media regarding a suspected case of Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) in Kenya.
She said after they were notified of a suspected case from AAR Hospital in Kiambu County, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the County Department of Health and relevant public health experts, promptly activated established surveillance and response protocols.
