According to the Speaker, the initiative is part of his commitment to transforming parliament into a digitally enabled institution capable of delivering more efficient, accessible, and transparent legislative services.
Under the proposed system, members of parliament will be able to submit complaints, requests and other work-related matters through an online platform, reducing the need to approach secretariat staff in person.
The framework is designed to digitize key functions, including legislative workflow automation, digital attendance monitoring, electronic voting, and strengthening transparency and access to information.
