MOGADISHU, September 24, 2026 Somalia have been drawn alongside hosts Rwanda, Sudan and South Sudan in Group A of the East and Central African qualifiers for the 2027 Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
The draw took place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Rwanda will host the 10-team tournament in Kigali from Oct. 10 to 19, regional football body CECAFA said.

Uganda, Ethiopia and Burundi make up Group B, while defending regional champions Tanzania will face Djibouti and Kenya in Group C.
The winners of each group and the best runner-up will reach the semi-finals. The two finalists and the winner of the third-place playoff will qualify for the 2027 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, according to CECAFA.
