He noted that ongoing partnerships U.S.A, 16 October 2025 — Somalia’s Minister of Finance, Biixi Iimaan Egeh, chaired the 26th Meeting of Finance Ministers of the Horn of Africa Initiative, held in Washington D.C. on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The meeting brought together finance ministers from Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan, and South Sudan, along with representatives from the World Bank and IMF. Discussions focused on enhancing economic cooperation among countries of the Horn of Africa and reviewing joint development projects.
