Uganda,11 May 2026 Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in Uganda on Monday to attend the swearing in of President Yoweri Museveni, according to Uganda Media Centre.
Hassan Sheikh was received at Entebbe International Airport by Ugandan Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja ahead of the inauguration ceremony scheduled for May 12 at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds in Kampala.
The Ugandan government said several regional leaders and senior officials are expected to attend the ceremony marking Museveni’s new term in office.
