Somalia, 1 November 2025 — Qatar Charity today launched a five-day free medical camp at Tog-Wajaale General Hospital, offering eye treatment and surgeries.
The opening ceremony was attended by officials from the Tog-Wajaale district administration, the hospital’s management, and representatives from Qatar Charity.
Health officials confirmed that over 500 people have registered to benefit from free eye screening and surgical services.
According to hospital management, the registered residents will be categorized based on their medical needs—those requiring surgery and those needing basic treatment.
Local authorities urged residents to take advantage of this opportunity and expressed their gratitude to Qatar Charity for its continued support to the people of Tog-Wajaale.
The organization has previously conducted similar medical campaigns, including free eye surgeries, in Hargeisa and Burao.
The campaigns aim to improve healthcare access for vulnerable communities.
