Hiiraan (Dawan Africa) – The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), in coordination with international partners, has claimed the killing of a senior Al-Shabaab leader, Hussein Abdullahi Dalab, known as “Caamir,” during a targeted operation in the Show area of Hiiraan region on Tuesday.
According to NISA, the operation was strategically planned to disrupt Al-Shabaab’s activities in the region, and it resulted in the death of Dalab, who was reportedly a prominent figure within the group's leadership structure. NISA stated that Dalab was known for his role as a key security officer in the Hiiraan and Hirshabelle regions.
