Kenya, 29 April 2026 - Principal Secretary (PS) in the State Department for National Government Coordination Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim, together with other Principal Secretaries, on Wednesday attended the first National Development Implementation Committee (NDIC) meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi.
Such gatherings provide an important platform for Principal Secretaries and other key stakeholders to discuss strategies, review progress, and address challenges in the implementation of government projects and programmes.
During the meeting, participants addressed critical issues, including the progress of national development projects, resource allocation, and inter-agency collaboration aimed at improving service delivery.
The forum also offered an opportunity to align departmental objectives with broader national priorities, ensuring that development initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
Convened under the theme “Effective and Efficient Management of Public Service Delivery,” the meeting reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to faster, smarter, and more accountable implementation of programmes that directly improve the lives of Kenyans.
Discussions at the NDIC meeting placed strong emphasis on the progress of development projects and programmes in line with the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
This reflects a strategic approach to driving economic growth and addressing the needs of the population.
