Kenya December 12 2025 - As the country heads towards the 2027 General Election, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has intensified his outreach efforts, hosting a delegation of 300 members of the Meru community in Nairobi for consultations on national unity and political inclusivity.
The high-level engagement brought together prominent political figures, among them former Attorney General and former National Assembly Speaker Justin Muturi, and former Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi.
Their participation, Kalonzo noted, enriched the discussions and underscored the growing momentum behind cross-community dialogue.
Organized by Wiper Party officials under the leadership of Executive Director Benson Milai, the meeting provided a platform to discuss the state of the nation, shared aspirations, and the need to ensure all communities have an equal voice in national affairs.

Kalonzo said the interaction with the Meru leaders reaffirmed his party’s commitment to building bridges and fostering a future anchored on fairness, dignity and opportunity.
“As we prepare for another electoral cycle, it is clear that Kenyans across all regions yearn for unity, equity and a leadership that listens,” he said.
“We remain committed to creating a country where every community is respected and represented.”
The forum comes at a time when political formations are beginning to take shape, with leaders reaching out to key communities as part of early alignments ahead of the 2027 polls.
