The new market consists of 76 shops of varying sizes, offering essential services for the community. The government announced that it will waive rental fees for the first six months to encourage business activity.
The Community Development Center features a library, computer lab, theater, art and sewing workshops, and meeting halls, all aimed at enhancing education and community knowledge.

Sports facilities include various spaces dedicated to football, basketball, handball, and track events, with separate areas for boys and girls.
Additionally, the security center for the Darawiish Forces is designed to meet all the necessary requirements for fulfilling their security duties and protecting citizens and their property.
President Guelleh emphasized that the projects are crucial pillars for the development of urban areas and society. He highlighted their role in creating jobs, combating youth drug abuse and crime, and strengthening peace and security. The projects were realized with the support of the French Development Agency, reflecting the long-standing partnership between Djibouti and France.
"Access to these public buildings is a significant step in urban planning for the country, and they provide citizens with essential services that contribute to their health and development," President Guelleh stated, urging the public to make the most of the new facilities and protect them.
