Qatar, September 22, 2025 – Djibouti’s Minister of Posts and Communication, Radwan Abdillahi Bahdon, held talks in Doha on Sunday with Hamed Ben Thamer Al Thani, Chairman and CEO of Qatar Media Corporation, according to Djibouti’s state media.
Qatar Media Corporation is the state-owned body that oversees Qatar’s national television, radio, and other media outlets.
The Djiboutian news agency (ADI) reported that discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Djibouti’s national broadcaster (RTD) and Qatari media institutions, with particular attention to training and technical and equipment support.
Minister Bahdon was accompanied by RTD Director General Aden Abdi Jama and Djibouti’s Ambassador to Qatar, Dayib Doubad.
According to ADI, Bahdon extended an official invitation for the Qatari executive to visit Djibouti, which was accepted.
The Djibouti delegation also toured the studios of Al Jazeera and met with the Director of Qatar Television.
