OBOCK, Djibouti, September 18, 2026 Djibouti distributed humanitarian supplies to more than 700 Yemeni refugee families living in the Obock region, the Djiboutian News Agency, ADI, reported.
The National Union of Djiboutian Women, known as UNFD, distributed the aid to 2,799 people, including children, women and men who had fled the conflict in Yemen.
The donation, provided by Djibouti's first lady and UNFD president Kadra Mahamoud Haid, included blankets, headscarves, kitchen utensils, clothing, shoes and hygiene products.

A delegation led by UNFD Secretary-General Fatouma Moussa Abdi delivered the supplies to the refugees on Thursday.
The distribution ceremony was attended by Obock regional prefect Moussa Aden Miganeh, regional council president Mohamed Houmed Ismail and UNFD regional branch president Fatoum Houmed.
