Djibouti, 26 January 2026 Djibouti’s Ministry of National Education and Vocational Skills has completed a four-month training program on artificial intelligence (AI) for its education inspectors, aimed at improving school supervision, evaluation, and administrative efficiency, Radio Télévision Djibouti reported on Sunday.
The program, which ran from October 2025 to January 2026, included 14 sessions attended by inspectors and ministry officials from various departments. Participants were trained on using AI tools for data collection, analysis, and decision-making to enhance school management across the country.
Funded by the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) through its Kireefa program, the training was delivered by Djibouti-based expert Husein Ahmed.

Officials said the initiative highlights the growing role of AI in education and the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements. Certificates were awarded to participants, marking their new skills in leveraging AI to strengthen oversight and efficiency within Djibouti’s education system.
