Somalia, 30 June 2026 – China is implementing a zero-tariff policy for Somalia to support exports of Somali products to the Chinese market, Chinese Ambassador to Somalia Wang Yu said.
Speaking at the inauguration of the Somali Diaspora Center in Mogadishu on Monday, Wang said the policy was part of wider efforts to deepen economic cooperation between China and Somalia.

Wang said the zero-tariff policy was among several initiatives reflecting what he described as deepening political trust and expanding practical cooperation between the two countries.
