Somalia, 9 November 2025 — The Somali Police Force is searching for five individuals allegedly involved in a shooting and property destruction that occurred at Wadajir Police Station in Mogadishu.
According to a police statement issued on Sunday night, the suspects—Hassan Nur Alasow, Abdullahi Roble Sidow, Fitaho Husseen Warsam, Abdullahi Ahmed Iley, and Bile Muse Ali—used illegal firearms to obstruct the enforcement of a Banadir Regional Court ruling.
The incident reportedly resulted in death and substantial damage to property. Police did not disclose the total number of casualties.
Authorities have appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with information about the suspects’ whereabouts to contact the emergency number 991 or report to the nearest police station.
Officials emphasized that public cooperation is crucial to bringing the perpetrators to justice and upholding the rule of law.
