Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali Security forces arrested two Al-Shabaab suspects after conducting operation in Mogadishu according to National Intelligence and Security Agency(NISA) Thursuday.
NISA identified the suspects as Zakariya Said Abdullahi whose father is an Al-Shabaab militant and in-charge of planning target areas in the capital to be attacked and Abdullahi Ahmed Hassan who was a government officer, but betrayed.
The Security agency shared photos of the two suspects and a pistol on social media, claiming that those captives admitted their crimes of being group operatives.
The operation came following weeks of increased attacks by Al-Shabaab on shops and businesses in the capital due to Government compliance of CCTV cameras.
