Kenya, 24 November 2025 - Malaysia has praised President William Ruto for his remarkable leadership, which emphasises economic change and poverty alleviation as part of Kenya's strategic economic agenda.

In a tweet on Monday, President Ruto praised Malaysia's economic transformation, recalling that both countries "began at a similar footing at independence".
