Dolow (Dawan) – Jubbaland President Ahmed Islam Madobe accused Somalia's federal government of imposing unnecessary flight restrictions that have impacted humanitarian aid delivery in Dolow.
Madobe said the flight restrictions have affected critical assistance to pregnant women, children, and other vulnerable populations.
He warned that the humanitarian situation in Dolow will worsen if the federal government does not remove the restrictions. He said Jubbaland is ready to work will aid agencies ensure humanitarian and medical flights reach those in need.

The president also called on local authorities and organizations operating in Dolow to guarantee access to essential services, while ensuring that air traffic and flight operations in other parts of Jubbaland remain unaffected.
Dolow serves as the main operational hub for many international and government agencies in Jubbaland, highlighting the importance of reliable air and logistical management in the region.
