Djibouti (Dawan Africa) – The French Ambassador to Djibouti, Dana Purcarescu, has concluded her three-year tenure in the country, during which she worked to strengthen diplomatic relations between Djibouti and France.
She was received for a farewell meeting on Sunday by the Speaker of the Djibouti National Assembly, Dileita Mohamed Dileita, where both sides underlined the close cooperation between the two nations.
According to Djiboutian state media, Speaker Dileita praised Ambassador Purcarescu for her efforts in advancing collaboration in the fields of politics, economy, culture, and parliamentary affairs. He also expressed appreciation for her continuous commitment to strengthening bilateral ties throughout her assignment.
Ambassador Purcarescu, who presented her credentials to President Ismaïl Omar Guelleh on October 20, 2022, has been recognized for playing a key role in consolidating the relationship between Djibouti and France.
Her departure marks the end of her three-year posting in Djibouti, with both governments reaffirming the importance of further deepening their longstanding partnership.
