Djibouti, 3 November 2025 — Djibouti's Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare has officially launched the third cohort of its government leadership and public administration training program, which will run for eight months.
The program, implemented in collaboration with the National Institute of Public Administration (INDA), aims at strengthening leadership skills, project management capacity, and public service delivery of senior government officials.
The opening ceremony, held on Sunday, was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Labor, the Director-General of INDA, and senior representatives from other national ministries.
During the event, certificates were also awarded to graduates of the previous public administration cohort.
According to the National Institute of Public Administration the initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to build a competent and accountable civil service capable of meeting modern governance demands.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare emphasized that the objective of the training is to enhance the efficiency of public institutions by equipping government staff and leaders with advanced administrative and leadership skills.
The program, hosted by INDA forms part of Djibouti’s national strategy to build an effective, transparent, and skills-driven public administration rooted in professional ethics.
