Dhibouti (Dawan) – Djibouti and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) discussed expanding the workforce mobility program, which provides young Djiboutians with access to international employment opportunities.
The talks followed the success of the SKILLS program, through which 16 Djiboutian drivers secured employment in Canada, according to the Djibouti News Agency (ADI).
Labor Minister Yonis Ali Guedi met with IOM officials to evaluate the pilot program’s outcomes and design new job opportunities. The discussions covered all stages of the program, from candidate identification to placement in host countries.
