Djibouti, 30 April 2026 Djibouti and Egypt held talks Tuesday on expanding healthcare and pharmaceutical supply chains, the state news agency ADI reported.
The discussions were held between Deka Ahmed Robleh, Director General of Djibouti’s National Social Security Fund (CNSS), and Egypt’s ambassador to Djibouti, Abdel Rahman Raafat, according to the report.
The talks focused on expanding cooperation in healthcare delivery, procurement of medicines and medical supplies, and facilitating access to specialised treatment.
Egypt could receive more patients from Djibouti for advanced care under structured arrangements, ADI reported.
