Djibouti, 25 April 2026 Djibouti authorities deported several undocumented migrants after a security sweep in the capital, the state news agency ADI reported on Friday.
The operation, carried out early Tuesday morning in District 7, led to the detention of more than 330 people, according to a police report cited by ADI.
Authorities said the sweep targeted individuals suspected of illegal activities, including traffic-related offences, in the area.

Among those detained, seven individuals were already wanted by security services, the report said.
ADI said several foreign nationals found to be in the country illegally were repatriated to their countries of origin, while legal proceedings were initiated against others suspected of offences.
The operation is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen public safety and curb criminal activity in the capital, ADI said.
