Mogadishu, (Dawan), Aug. 7, 2026 – Arkaan AI Center has officially launched Garad.ai in Mogadishu, a platform that brings together a wide range of services powered by artificial intelligence to simplify tasks for individuals, companies and institutions.
Garad.ai combines multiple AI-powered tools in one place, including content writing, graphic design, video generation, email management, marketing and other business-related functions. According to information presented at the launch event, the platform is designed to reduce the need for users to move between different applications in order to complete their work.
Jaabir Osman Geedi, a member of Arkaan, said Garad.ai could be particularly useful for media and marketing teams.
“For media teams, especially social media teams, instead of logging into each platform separately, one publish can distribute content across all social media platforms. It can also support functions similar to a call agent, facilitate meetings, generate leads, support sales and marketing activities.”
Garad.ai was also presented as a platform capable of supporting tasks such as drafting emails, responding to messages, managing work schedules and assisting with business marketing, which could help improve productivity in workplaces.
Eng Abdirazek Mohamed Yousuf, a software developer, said the platform could create new opportunities for people who regularly use AI tools.
“I have seen similar ideas on foreign platforms. I commend the Arkaan team for bringing more than 32 models together on one platform. Personally, I can use it for content creation as well as coding, instead of paying subscriptions to foreign services.”

Arkaan’s Director General, Abdullahi Mohamed ‘Siyaasi’, said the service could have a significant impact on businesses and on the development of young people’s skills.
“Businesspeople in particular will have access to services that can make a major difference in their businesses and daily operations. We do not want to create only job seekers; we want to create innovators, job creators and young leaders who actively benefit from modern technology, especially artificial intelligence.”
The launch of Garad.ai comes at a time when the use of artificial intelligence is rapidly expanding around the world. Arkaan AI Center hopes the platform will contribute to the development of business, media, education and innovation in Somalia by making a range of AI services available through a single platform.
