Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Al-Shabaab militants on Sunday claimed the responsibility for mortar attacks at Police and National Intelligence and Security Agency Headquarters and House of the Upper House of the Federal Parliament of Somalia in Mogadishu overnight.
Al-Shabaab did not identify if they were casualties, but residents and Police sources confirmed that several mortar rounds landed in Bondhere, Shibis and Abdiaziz district in the Somali capital Mogadishu.

The group also claimed that its fighters killed a Government soldier in Wadajir district in another attack at the same time.
The Police did not comment the latest attack in Mogadishu that left sleeping residents frightened.
