Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Jehow Launches Extensive Tour Focused on Wajir North Needs

Kenya, 20 July 2026 - Wajir County Woman Representative Fatuma Jehow has kicked off a high-profile development and stakeholder outreach tour in Wajir North Constituency.

The tour is framed as part of her ongoing constituency-wide engagements primarily driven by the National Government Affirmative Action Fund (NGAAF).

However, coming as political alignments take shape, the tour has drawn significant attention from local leadership and communities.

Jehow held extensive town-hall style discussions with a cross-section of the Wajir North community, including elders and traditional leadership, religious leaders, local teachers and education stakeholders. Others included security officials, youth and women representatives.

During her addresses, the Woman Representative emphasised that the tour’s insights would shape targeted interventions.
