Turkish Embassy in Somalia Prepares to Welcome Oruç Reis Seismic Research Vessel

Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-The Turkish Embassy in Somalia announced on Sunday its preparations to welcome the Oruç Reis seismic research vessel, which departed from Turkey and is en route to Mogadishu.

The embassy held a technical meeting with Arabey Hashi, Director General of Petroleum at Somalia's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to discuss the vessel's arrival and its upcoming work in Somalia.

The Oruç Reis will operate under a memorandum of understanding between the two countries' energy ministries, and its departure was marked by a ceremony attended by President Erdoğan in Istanbul.
