Kenya, 27 August 2028 - Principal Secretary State Department for National Government Coordination Ahmed Abdisalan Ibrahim on Thursday held deliberations with a delegation from the World Bank Group ahead of a high level dialogue on delivering results for more and better jobs in a changing development landscape.
The High-Level Dialogue is scheduled to take place on Monday, 31 August 2026 at the Nairobi Serena Hotel from 9:00am to 11:00am.
This will thereafter be followed by the PIUneer Curriculum Co-Creation Workshop from 2:00pm that will come to a close on Tuesday, 1 September 2026.
The PIUneer is a new global initiative led by the World Bank Group and a coalition of Multilateral Development Banks (MDB) and development partners to create a joint academy for professionals working on results, implementation and institutional performance.
PS Ibrahim will join other distinguished panelists to High—Level dialogue to discuss and highlight the Government's plans on growth and better job creation. He will focus on the Government perspective on translating national priorities into implementation and results.

The event is co-hosted by the World Bank, the African Development Bank and the Islamic Development Bank sets the stage for timely discussions focused on expanding economic opportunities and creating job opportunities in an increasingly resource restrained environment.
