Mogadishu 15 September 2026 - SomBank has added a flight booking service to its T-Plus app, allowing customers to search for flights, compare prices and purchase airline tickets, the bank said in a statement issued on Monday.
The service, called T-Plus Travel, lets users choose one-way, return or multi-city journeys, enter passenger details and select a cabin class before paying through the app.
SomBank said customers booking through the service may receive discounts, though prices and discounts vary by flight and travel option. It did not specify the size of the discounts or identify the airlines available on the platform.

SomBank is a Mogadishu-based bank offering Sharia-compliant financial services, according to its company profile. T-Plus is its mobile financial services app. The bank announced a partnership with Mastercard in 2023 to expand digital payment services.
