In its ruling dated 13 October, the court confirmed that the results of the re-run election had been approved after reviewing the electoral process and the relevant documents submitted to it.
The approval marks the latest judicial step in the Galmudug electoral process as the federal continues with its implementation of one-man one-vote elections in the federal member states.
The original election was annulled after the Towfiiq Party filed a complaint concerning the electoral process, prompting the matter to be referred to the Supreme Court.
