MOGADISHU (Dawan) – Somalia’s Prime Minister, Hamza Abdi Barre, has officially appointed the National Committee for Skills Development and Job Creation, tasked with enhancing workforce skills, generating new jobs, and boosting opportunities in the private sector, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office.
The committee includes the Prime Minister’s office and 13 key ministries central to skills development and employment initiatives. It will focus on improving labor market systems and professional training programs to ensure that youth and job seekers access quality employment opportunities.
