Somalia's Auditor General Ahmed Isse Gutale met with officials from key government ministries on Monday to discuss streamlining government contracting processes, aiming to enhance transparency and accountability.
The Auditor General’s office said the discussions focused on procedures related to the documentation, registration and implementation of government agreements and contracts.
The meeting was attended by officials from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the National Identification Authority, and the Revenue Directorate at the Ministry of Finance.
