Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre on Tuesday expressed strong concerns about the rising tensions between Somalia and Ethiopia, questioning the maturity of those fueling the conflict.
In a forceful statement, Barre emphasized Somalia's right to sovereignty and its ability to form alliances that benefit the country. He reaffirmed that Somalia seeks support from any nation willing to assist, without infringing on others' sovereignty.
Addressing Ethiopia's attempt to secure sea access through a controversial port deal with Somaliland, Barre declared the agreement illegal, stating Somalia will not accept it.
