Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali Police forces arrested 24 young individuals on Saturday for allegedly inciting violence during a football match between the Kaaraan and Wadajir districts at the Eng. Yarisow Stadium (Ex-Coonis) in Mogadishu's Abdiaziz district.
The police command released photos and names of those detained on social media.
The arrests come amid rising tensions at the district-level football tournament in the Benadir region, involving 20 districts.
