Mogadishu, 8 September 2026 Somalia's Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Mohamed Ali ‘Nadaara’ met Monday with the International Committee of the Red Cross Regional Director for Africa, Mamadou Sow, the Foreign Affairs Ministry said.
The meeting at the Foreign Affairs Ministry headquarters in Mogadishu focused on ICRC humanitarian activities in Somalia and recent developments in the Horn of Africa region, according to the ministry.
The two sides discussed strengthening humanitarian cooperation and facilitating aid operations based on international humanitarian principles while considering Somalia's humanitarian needs and priorities.
