Kenya, April 28 2026 - Safarilink airline has launched a third daily flight from Nairobi to Arusha in a bid to enhance regional connectivity and tourism.
The expansion was announced on Monday in a ceremony officiated by Tourism Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano.
The flights will operate between Wilson Airport and Arusha Airport. The morning flight will depart Wilson at 7:45 am and arrive in Arusha at 8:45 am.
The mid-day flight will depart Wilson at 1:10 pm and arrive in Arusha at 2:10 pm, while the evening flight will depart Wilson at 4 pm and arrive at 5 pm.
Travellers can book their seats through the airline’s official website, contact centre, or accredited travel agents.
Speaking during the event, Miano said the expansion would be vital in enhancing connectivity and economic growth between the two countries, while also reinforcing diplomatic ties.
“My hearty congratulations to Safarilink for launching the third daily flight between Arusha and Nairobi between December 2025 and April 2026,” Miano said.
Acknowledging the economic importance of the aviation industry, the CS assured that the government will remain focused on improving aviation infrastructure, refining regulatory frameworks, and deepening regional cooperation.

“We acknowledge that airspace fragmented by red tape benefits no one. Our goal, therefore, is to enable a seamless sky with smooth and reassuring flights,” she said.
Safarilink Aviation was launched in January 2004 and specializes in providing tourist-related air services in East Africa.
The airline currently offers daily scheduled services to over 18 destinations, primarily covering major game parks and coastal locations in Kenya and Northern Tanzania, including the Maasai Mara, Amboseli, Diani Beach, and Zanzibar.
Safarilink operates a fleet of approximately 12–15 aircraft, mainly consisting of Cessna Grand Caravans and Dash 8-100s.
In April 2025, the airline partnered with Kenya Airways, enabling customers to book domestic safari connections and international flights on a single ticket, eliminating the need for separate bookings.
