Bosaso(Mogadishu24)-Puntland State security forces have reassured the public that the security situation in the port town of Bosaso, located in the Bari region, is stable and fully under control.
Police authorities dismissed reports of tensions in the city, affirming that security forces are carrying out their regular patrols and security checks without any disruptions.
The Puntland Police Command emphasized that there are no ongoing special operations or clashes between forces. They urged the residents of Bosaso to disregard false rumors being circulated and to cooperate with security forces working to maintain peace and stability in the city.
Local residents have been encouraged to trust the security forces, who are consistently working to ensure the safety of Bosaso.
This comes after recent security incidents in the past weeks, which led to a temporary halt in operations at Bosaso airport, following the denial of departure for Puntland Security Force (PSF) personnel from the airport.
