November, 14 2025 - Nigeria will play against DR Congo in the final of the African World Cup qualification playoffs, after impressive victories from both teams in their last matches. This big match will decide who gets a chance to represent Africa at the World Cup.
Nigeria’s Triumph in the Last Match
The Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated Gabon 4-1 in their semi-final match. The game went into extra time, where Victor Osimhen found the back of the net twice, while Chidera Ejuke and Akor Adams added more goals to secure the win. Nigeria showed great strength and determination, breaking Gabon's resistance late in the game and moving one step closer to the World Cup dream.
DR Congo’s Victory Over Cameroon
DR Congo reached the final by beating Cameroon 1-0 in a tense and close match.
