New Somali Police Chief Meets Swedish Ambassador to Discuss Security Cooperation

Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Newly Appointed Somali Police Chief, Brigadier General Asad Osman Abdullahi on Monday met with Sweden’s Ambassador to Somalia, Joachim Waern, to discuss enhancing security cooperation, counterterrorism efforts, and increasing training and support for Somali police forces.

This marks the Police Chief’s first meeting with foreign diplomats since his appointment last Thursday, ahead of his official assumption of duties.
