For its part, Comoros rejected any attempts to undermine Somalia's territorial unity or legitimize secession under any pretext. Moroni described the recognition as a direct threat to security and stability in the Horn of Africa, urging the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in protecting Somalia’s sovereignty and promoting regional peace.
In the same context, Morocco condemned any recognition of separatist entities, reiterating its support for the Somali national position and the aspirations of the Somali people for unity, security, and stability.
The rejections add to the growing condemnation of Israel's action from the Arab and Muslim world.
