Kenya, 22 June 2026 - The Kenya Hajj Mission has held a post-Hajj review meeting with accredited Hajj agents to evaluate the recently concluded 1447AH/2026 pilgrimage and lay the groundwork for preparations for Hajj 2027 (1448AH).
The meeting, held at the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims (SUPKEM) headquarters in Nairobi, brought together Hajj operators and officials to assess the 2026 pilgrimage and identify measures aimed at improving services for future pilgrims.
Among the key resolutions reached was the retention of 14 accredited Hajj agents for the 2027 pilgrimage season. The meeting also set a minimum allocation of 300 pilgrims per agent, a move aimed at enhancing efficiency and accountability among Hajj operators.
Participants emphasized the need for stronger coordination between stakeholders and strict compliance with timelines issued by Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah to ensure smooth planning and execution of pilgrimage activities.
The Kenya Hajj Mission also resolved to improve accommodation arrangements for pilgrims through joint inspections and advance planning. Future accommodation packages will include meals as part of efforts to enhance the overall welfare and comfort of Kenyan pilgrims during their stay in the holy sites.
Prospective pilgrims were informed that registration for Hajj 2027 has officially commenced, with details regarding payment schedules and procedures expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Officials said the deliberations underscored the Kenya Hajj Mission's commitment to improving service delivery, strengthening coordination among Hajj stakeholders, and ensuring a more efficient and comfortable pilgrimage experience for Kenyan Muslims.
