Joint forces kill 19 Al-Shabaab militants in south-central Somalia

Mogadishu(Mogadishu24)-Somali National Army backed by International partners killed 19 Al-Shabaab militants after conducting joint operation at border areas between middle Shabelle and Galgudud regions in south-central parts of the country.

Somalia's ministry of information said in a statement Wednesday that the operations happened in the past 24 hours.

Al-Shabaab did not comment on the government claims in middle Shabelle and Galgudud regions so far.
